Here you can find a selection of institutions, which HIE-RO is working with very succesfully on a lot of projects etc. We really appreciate their work and their inputs for the development of the institute.

The HIE-RO Institute and the Austrian media institution "GLOCALIST MEDIA" have started a cooperation in September 2007. "GLOCALIST MEDIA"" is a very famous European-acting and German-speaking institution with the main working fields of BUSINESS ETHICS, SUSTAINABILITY and SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY based on human rights and the establishment of economical, ecological and social equality.

The cooperation is mainly based on interactive supporting activites of the daily work process of both partners. Furthermore the Hanseatic Institute for Entrepreneurship and Regional Development will produce scientific abstracts and contributions for the different forms of "GLOCALIST MEDIA": Glocalist Daily News, Glocalist Review and Glocalist Magazine.

The Hanseatic Institute for Entrepreneurship and Regional Development at the University of Rostock and GLS Gemeinschaftsbank eG established a cooperation in June 2008, concerning a marketing sponsorship in financing the publication "Social Entrepreneurship - Entrepreneurial Ideas for a better Society".

The Hanseatic Institute for Entrepreneurship and Regional Development works very closely together with the department for start-ups and spin-offs at the University of Rostock, called GRÜNDERBÜRO. Especially the project "ROXI" is in constant dialogue and exchange with the responsible persons René Portwich and Kai-Uwe Grünberg.

migra e.V. are immigrants of different national-cultural origins and Germans who are committed to a joint effort for a democratic, pluralistic and intercultural society. Therefore they founded during summer 2007 in Rostock the registered organization “migra e.V. – language, education and integration” for migrants in Mecklenburg Western-Pomerania.

They believe that language skills and professional education are crucial keys for a successful integration, that’s where they place the emphasis of their work.

The Hanseatic Institute for Entrepreneurship and Regional Development at the University of Rostock and the International Center for Business and Public Management at the University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn have signed a contract in April 2007 concerning a scientific cooperation. Both parties agreed on different forms of cooperation:

• Promotion of mutual understanding and collaboration in education and research,
• Developing programs of faculty, administrative staff and students exchanges,
• Creating channels of scientific information exchange,
• Co-operation in the application for funds in research, training and exchange,
• Increasing the impact of both institutions outside their countries.
